The site in Manchester is a world-class manufacturing facility, constantly being improved with a huge yearly investment budget; they are always investing and upgrading machinery, keeping it at a state-of-the-art facility status.

The Role:

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will include:

  1. Performing scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and inspections on injection moulding machines, auxiliary equipment, and related systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical).
  2. Monitoring equipment performance parameters, identifying potential issues, and taking corrective action to prevent breakdowns.
  3. Maintaining accurate maintenance records and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  4. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults using established procedures and tools.
  5. Minimizing downtime and ensuring timely restoration of production.
The Candidate:

To be successful in your application as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you must have the following skills or attributes:

  1. Must have a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
  2. Must have previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer.
