About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking Project Controls Manager to join our established and growing team at Mace. As a key member of our consultancy portfolio, you will be responsible for directing and managing the application of specific project controls methods, techniques, and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage a team of professionals delivering project controls services and responsible for staff development.
  • Evaluate trends and communicate analysis and corrective measures effectively in a complex project environment.
  • Lead the application of specific project controls methods, techniques, and tools.
  • Advising on complex requirements and communicating analysis and corrective measures effectively.
  • Manage project controls delivery of medium/high complexity projects/programmes.
  • Play a key role in multidisciplinary teams and lead the creation of plans or analysis of trends.
Requirements
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
  • Experience of working on construction projects and/or consultancy.
  • Experience of delivering effective PMO and project controls frameworks/strategies.
  • Good knowledge of PMO and project controls tools, techniques, and software (e.g. MS Office, Power BI, Aconex, Primavera P6, RiskHive).
  • An interest in data analytics.
  • Knowledge of PMO and project controls service delivery in one or more sectors (e.g. rail, highways, nuclear, public sector, hospitals).
  • Effective networking skills.
  • Experience supporting the delivery of PMO and project controls services.
  • APM planning and project controls (PPC) foundation and practitioner certification.
