Job Title: Stock Control Support

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Control Support to join our team at Pets at Home. As a key member of our Stock Control Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, from receipt of goods to storage and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in coordinating transport to deliver goods and maintain a highly accurate stock keeping system.
  2. Process all store returns and recalls, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  3. Monitor and process DC damages, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  4. Control all Brexit store orders and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  5. Assist Stock Control in managing inventory levels and stock placement using the JDA system.
  6. Collaborate with the Stock Control Team to ensure all internal stock control processes are followed.
  7. Maximize stock availability and ensure accurate delivery to stores.
  8. Assist in maintaining the accuracy of the warehouse stock file through perpetual inventory counts and damage reduction opportunities.
  9. Maintain physical inventory in line with system-driven PI to control adjustments.
  10. Assist Stock Control in monitoring all inbound POs to close orders within 48 hours and ensure accuracy.
  11. Conduct weekly full empty location checks to optimize storage efficiency.
  12. Assist Stock Control in monitoring, investigating, and authorizing internal product adjustments to maintain stock accuracy.

Requirements:

  1. Working experience in a 24/7 operational environment.
  2. Goods in/out experience.
  3. Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to design and draft reports.
  4. Forward-thinking with a customer-centric focus.
  5. Strong attention to detail.
  6. Creative and resourceful under pressure.
  7. Collaborator within the wider business.
