Store Manager Position

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Claire's. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and profit, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales and profit through effective sales strategies and customer engagement
  • Lead and manage a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets
  • Ensure the store is well merchandised and commercially correct, with a focus on visual merchandising and stock management
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, stock control, and cash handling
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer engagement and loyalty
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 to 2 years retail management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills
  • Ability to analyze sales reports and strategically problem solve
  • Ability to stand during scheduled shifts
  • Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
  • Bending, stooping, extended reaching, climbing ladders and step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting customers
  • Ability to operate POS system
