Job Title: Electrical Installations Lecturer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installations Lecturer to join our team at Gi Group Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to students, inspiring them to achieve their potential and equip them with the skills needed for their future careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding education and training to students, meeting the demands of the academic calendar and producing schemes of working and planning for lessons.
  • Prepare students for high levels of study and the world of work, developing specific vocational work and employability skills through the curriculum and external links.
  • Work with the Pastoral and Progression Coach and course team to promote work experience opportunities and liaise with parents, guardians, schools, industry, and other organizations to identify requirements and recruit learners.
  • Have overall responsibility for the academic and pastoral care of a group or groups, including arranging support requirements and keeping up-to-date records.
  • Set targets using an electronic individual learning programme for each student and monitor and track enrolment, registration, and exam claims.
  • Prepare relevant submissions and liaise with accrediting bodies and undertake internal quality assessment and moderation duties to implement quality assurance processes and procedures for learning programmes.

Requirements:

  • Experience of teaching or training in the relevant area(s).
  • Relevant work experience in industry and commerce.
  • Appropriate level teaching qualification or willingness to work towards.
  • Literacy and Numeracy at Level 2 or above.
  • Able to deliver to students at all levels and abilities and use flexible and innovative methods of delivery as required.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people receiving education and training.
  • Willing to undertake any training connected with the post and update own CPD.
  • Committed to a policy of equality relevant to all students, staff, clients, and members of the public.
