About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Property Maintenance Operative to join our team at Machine Mart. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute property maintenance and repairs in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to our schedule of works and task list.
  • Oversee and supervise works undertaken by the maintenance team, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Travel to various sites across the UK to carry out routine maintenance and repairs, including painting and decorating, plumbing, flooring, roofing, welding, joinery, bricklaying, and concreting.
  • Assist in the development of new properties acquired by the Company, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Provide support to the Facilities Manager with property reporting and prioritization.
  • Regular overnight stops and travel around the UK will be required.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required by the business.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience and high-level skills in property maintenance.
  • The ability to self-manage and pursue continuous improvement.
  • A good all-round range of general property maintenance, building, and problem-solving skills.
  • A well-natured and flexible approach.
