About the Role

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Machine Mart Careers. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties across the UK.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Plan and execute property maintenance and repairs in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to our schedule of works and task list.
  • Oversee and supervise maintenance works undertaken by the team, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Travel to various sites across the UK to carry out routine maintenance and repairs, including painting and decorating, plumbing, flooring, roofing, welding, joinery, bricklaying, and concreting.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety policies, company risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
  • Assist in the development of new properties acquired by the company, providing expertise and guidance to ensure seamless integration.
  • Support the Facilities Manager with property reporting and prioritization, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided.
  • Regular overnight stops and travel around the UK will be required, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required by the business, demonstrating a proactive and flexible approach.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience and high-level skills in property maintenance, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Ability to self-manage and pursue continuous improvement, with a focus on excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Good all-round range of general property maintenance, building, and problem-solving skills, with a well-natured and flexible approach.
