Job Title: Trusts Fundraising Manager

Merrifield Consultants is working with a disabilities charity in London to find a passionate Trusts Fundraiser for this Trusts Manager role who is looking to make a positive difference for the disabilities community.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Trusts Fundraiser to join our team and help us maximise income for our services from Trusts and Foundations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of securing funding from Trusts and will be able to build strong relationships with donors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure new funding opportunities, focusing on donors at the £10K - £40K level.
  • Maintain a pipeline of potential grant opportunities aligned with our fundraising plans and needs.
  • Prepare and write compelling funding applications and mailings to a range of funders.
  • Write high-quality reports to funders, manage donor feedback, and ensure sound stewardship.
  • Collaborate with Services and other fundraising staff to package funding opportunities.
  • Support the Head of Trusts and Foundations with higher value grant applications and strategy.
About You

You will have similar experience in the following:

  • Securing funding from Trusts with excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Conducting prospect research to identify new funding opportunities and maintain a pipeline.
  • Working collaboratively with Service Teams to package and cost project areas.
  • Stewarding warm funders, including preparing donor reports and gathering case studies.
  • Managing and prioritising your workload effectively.
  • Ideally, using a CRM for Trust Fundraising.
