About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Education Mental Health Practitioner to join our New Forest Mental Health Support Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering our Whole School Approach programme, working with colleagues to provide better access to specialist mental health services and supporting referrals where required.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver low-intensity CBT-based interventions to children and young people
  • Collaborate with young people and families to promote resilience and wellbeing
  • Work with senior leadership teams to support the design and delivery of programmes, policy, pathways, and support offers
  • Provide consultation to schools and other professionals within the bounds of knowledge and competence
