Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineering Specialist to join our client's core development team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for undertaking functional, performance, resilience, and voice quality testing of VoIP/SIP applications and microservices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a hybrid test framework for E2E call journeys involving SIP, RTP, and HTTP protocol testing with SIPp, Python, Robot Framework, and RPA.
  • Review requirements, specifications, technical design documents, and create detailed test plans.
  • Develop and execute automated tests using Python, Robot Framework, and other relevant tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Contribute to the development of test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Perform exploratory testing and provide feedback to the development team.

Requirements:

  • Experience with SIP/VoIP call performance testing using SIPp, Spectra, WinSIP, and StarTrinity.
  • Proficiency in automation using Python and Robot Framework.
  • Knowledge of API test automation and performance testing using Locust, Blazemeter/Taurus, k6, newman, and jmeter.
  • GUI automation experience with TestCafe, RobotFramework, and Selenium.
  • CI/CD test integration experience with Ansible and Terraform.
  • Basic administration skills for Linux and Windows.
  • Experience with operating systems like Linux (RHEL, CentOS, OEL) and Windows Servers/Workstations.
  • Knowledge of telecom applications (Metaswitch Rhino, Dialogic Media Server, Perimeta SBC) and telecom protocols (SIP, RTP).
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and security implementation/system hardening on telecom applications and services.
