About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Infrastructure Funding Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with us in delivering strategic and local plan development sites across North Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day management of the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and S106 agreements.
  • Ensure the timely collection of developer contributions and the distribution of payments in line with the provisions of S106 legal agreements and CIL spending priorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of development, CIL, and Section 106 monies received.
  • Develop and implement a centralised and effective system for monitoring S106 and CIL.
  • Provide professional advice on S106 Agreement and CIL related matters.
  • Monitor Commencement Notices and interrogate various systems to identify commencement and trigger dates.
  • Prepare management information and statutory statistical returns as required.
Requirements
  • Degree level qualification in a relevant subject, such as town planning, surveying, or other relevant property-based subject.
  • Extensive experience of Microsoft applications and planning related IT systems.
  • Financially and commercially aware with strong analytical skills and a creative approach to service delivery.
