About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Van Driver to join our team at YMCA England & Wales. As a Van Driver, you will play a critical role in supporting our retail network by collecting and delivering donated items to local communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a company vehicle to transport goods and materials to and from our retail stores and donation centers.
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring safe and efficient handling practices.
- Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our retail store teams and donation centers to ensure seamless delivery operations.
Requirements
- A valid full driving license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in loading and carrying goods, with a strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and can-do attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
