Job Description

Job Title: Clinical Psychologist for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Outcomes First Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized assessment and intervention plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for adults with intellectual disabilities and autism
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, as well as consultation and training to staff members
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Post-graduate doctoral level qualification in Psychology (clinical, counselling, forensic)
  • Experience of working with adults with intellectual disabilities and autism, including those with complex needs
  • Substantial and relevant post-qualification experience in a clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
