Head of Payments and Supplier Management

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our payment services function, defining and delivering a payment services strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the business owner for payments performance, issues, risks, technology, and third-party requirements throughout the end-to-end payments activity.
- Monitor and engage with third-party suppliers who support the Financial Support Function.
- Work closely with the Group Head of Operational Insights and Outcomes to ensure that our payment services align with regulatory expectations and industry trends.
- Interact with Vendor Management regarding tender and renewal of supplier contracts.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the payments team, providing required training to drive performance and achieve departmental objectives.
- Significant experience of working at a senior manager level in a payment services function within Financial Services.
- Experience managing a large multi-site financial services function.
- Experience on contract monitoring, renewal, and tender (in collaboration with Vendor management functions).
- High levels of experience in identifying Risks and implementing controls.
- Base salary dependent on experience of between £75,000 - £85,000.
