Senior GPU Architect (RTL ASIC Graphics)

Are you an expert in GPU architecture seeking to elevate your career in a pivotal, hands-on position with a leading innovator in graphics and GPU technology?

In this role, you will work alongside a team of distinguished GPU Architects and engage with a demanding clientele to explore new concepts and requirements for GPU development, while staying abreast of the latest industry advancements.

Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough investigations and crafting detailed architectural feature specifications, as well as performing in-depth analyses to create solutions that fulfill essential power, performance, area, and bandwidth criteria. By collaborating with the research, modeling, and product teams, you will help shape a visionary technology roadmap.

Work Environment:

This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring attendance at the office a couple of days each week, with flexibility to work from various locations or remotely within the UK. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.

Candidate Profile:

  • A technology enthusiast with a strong inclination for collaboration and problem-solving, particularly in cutting-edge domains.
  • Proven experience in hardware/GPU design and architecture for large-scale, intricate systems.
  • Solid understanding of contemporary 3D graphics and compute APIs, including Vulkan, D3D12, and OpenCL.
  • Familiarity with digital ASIC design methodologies and constraints.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Educational background in a relevant technical field; advanced degrees (MSc/PhD) are a plus.
