GrandFlex Nursery Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a GrandFlex Nursery Assistant at Grandir UK. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a positive and nurturing environment for children to thrive
  • Supervise and support children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
  • Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of qualified practitioners
  • Read, understand, and implement company policies, procedures, and operational practices
  • Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation stage
  • Notify your line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures, and operational practices
  • Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors, and work colleagues
  • Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained
  • Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings, and undertake training as required

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check required
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
