Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a special education needs school in the Tring region. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, helping them to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with special educational needs.
  • Assist students with academic tasks, such as reading, writing, and math, and provide additional support as needed.
  • Encourage independence and self-confidence in students, helping them to develop essential life skills.
  • Safeguard all children and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:
  • Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.

  • A strong and resilient personality, committed to the development of students with special educational needs.
  • Excellent reading, writing, numeracy, and communication skills.
