Catalyst Partners: Chief Officer Role

The Chief Officer will be responsible for leading the overall people strategy and HR functions, ensuring that the company attracts, develops and retains top talent. This role will work closely with the CEO and other executive leaders to foster a positive and inclusive company culture, align HR initiatives with business goals, and drive organisational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy using data-driven insights to ensure alignment with the company's mission, vision, and business objectives.
  • Partner with the executive team to provide strategic input on organisational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
  • Support M&A activities by providing due diligence on people-related aspects, including talent assessment, cultural alignment, and organisational structure.
  • Oversee the recruitment process to attract and hire top talent across all levels of the organisation.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance employer branding and position the company as an employer of choice.
  • Create and implement comprehensive learning and development programs to support employee growth and career advancement.
  • Develop and manage performance management systems and processes that drive high performance and accountability.
  • Foster a culture of continuous feedback and professional development.
  • Design and oversee competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain talent.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure compensation practices are equitable and aligned with industry standards.
  • Using data driven insights, lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory compliance in the UK.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform HR decisions and present at Board level.
  • Passion for fostering a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
