MMP Consultancy is currently in search of a Regeneration Project Manager to join a Local Authority in West London. This role is designed to be temporary, with the potential for extension, and offers a competitive day rate.


The primary objective of this position is to spearhead and coordinate urban regeneration initiatives from the planning stage through to execution, adhering to project management principles such as risk assessment, cost-effectiveness, and overall project success.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Urban Initiatives: Strategically plan and implement the Council's Development & Regeneration agenda, ensuring it aligns with the overarching Housing Strategy.
  • Project Oversight: Manage a portfolio of intricate regeneration projects, ensuring thorough oversight from conception to completion, with an emphasis on risk management, cost-effectiveness, and project outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with registered providers, developers, investors, residents, and essential stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality regeneration projects.
  • Funding Strategy: Formulate and oversee funding strategies, secure external financing, and lead procurement processes to foster robust partnerships with development partners.
  • Policy Compliance: Remain informed about local and national regeneration policies, ensuring all projects adhere to relevant regulations.

Communication & Reporting:

Devise effective communication strategies and produce comprehensive reports for senior management and decision-making entities.


Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Significant experience in housing-led regeneration, encompassing planning, development, and execution.
  • In-depth knowledge of housing and regeneration policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets and identify funding avenues.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and managing diverse groups.
