Opportunity Overview
Our client, a prestigious and award-winning multi-disciplinary financial advisory firm, is located in a dynamic financial hub and is committed to delivering exceptional service through efficient compliance, innovative technology, and access to global expertise.
They are currently in search of a highly skilled and technically proficient Paraplanner to collaborate closely with their Advisors and occasionally engage with Clients. This role is essential in providing centralized support, generating timely and precise recommendations, and conducting regular Client review assessments. A client-centric approach is fundamental to all their operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Paraplanner, your responsibilities will encompass (but are not limited to):
- Building a strong partnership with Advisors, delivering exceptional Paraplanning services and customized Client support to meet business objectives.
- Assisting Advisors during Client meetings, whether virtual or in-person, by providing timely meeting documentation and producing high-quality suitability reports, along with specialized advice across Investments, protection, and pensions, including pension transfers and complex tax strategies.
- Collaborating with the broader Paraplanning and Client Account Management teams to manage a structured yet flexible workflow that adapts to the evolving needs of the practice.
- Ensuring compliance and competence throughout all stages of research and report preparation.
- Working alongside the Paraplanning Manager and Advisors to deliver optimal solutions tailored to Client requirements.
- Taking initiative in your professional development, addressing knowledge gaps, and collaborating with team members to enhance skills.
- Supporting the Paraplanning Manager in sharing insights, regulatory updates, product information, and tax changes with the team during monthly meetings.
- Providing expert technical knowledge and being eager to share insights with the team.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in technical paraplanning within a traditional financial advisory environment.
- Chartered Status through the CII is essential.
- Proficiency in Adobe, Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with familiarity with other relevant systems to create necessary documentation, templates, and reports in accordance with guidelines.
- Experience and comfort in participating in client-facing meetings alongside Advisors.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
