Site Operations Manager

**Job Title:** Site Agent
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Agent to join our team at Danny Sullivan Group Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a major highways project, ensuring that all works are carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement documentation to discharge planning conditions ahead of construction starting.
- Review design outputs and provide input on value engineering and cost savings.
- Assist the commercial team in developing a target cost for the works.
- Assist the planner in developing works programs.
- Assist the commercial team in the procurement of sub-contractors.
- Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment.
- Day-to-day management of a section of works, including supervision and monitoring of the site team and supply chain.
- Plan, control, and monitor the progress of the works and coordinate the section(s) of the project as allocated.
- Ensure any changes in scope (operations, commercial, program, or design) are captured and managed.
- Understand the temporary works requirements of the scheme.
- Attend external meetings as required with clients and stakeholders, building effective relationships.
- Report to the Project Manager on progress and performance.
- Conduct regular H&S checks and CDM audits.
- Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), Permit to Work systems, site inductions, and safety briefings are correctly carried out.
- Ensure and maintain strict quality control procedures.
- Effectively lead and manage direct reports, ensuring appropriate competence is maintained, including annual PDRs.
- Monitor the capability of staff and contractors to undertake current and prospective workloads and report to senior management.
- Identify and assist in introducing new processes, techniques, and innovations on site.
- HNC or higher.
- SMSTS.
- Relevant CSCS card.
- Office 365 expertise/CAD.
- Relevant Civil Engineering Experience.
- Temporary Works Co-ordinator (desirable).
- First Aid (desirable).
