We are in search of a passionate and skilled Team Manager for our supported living service. The ideal candidate will strive to enhance the lives of our service users and lead our dedicated support staff. Our organization assists adults with learning disabilities and autism in achieving fulfilling and independent lives while actively participating in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing monthly staff schedules
  • Providing support and supervision to team members
  • Conducting weekly team meetings to ensure effective communication
  • Onboarding new employees and performing competency assessments
  • Overseeing documentation related to medication, health and safety, and quality assurance
  • Leading the planning and execution of community events
  • Collaborating with the senior leadership team to uphold high standards of care.

The Team Manager plays a crucial role in assisting the Registered Care Manager in fostering a sense of community and home, ensuring service delivery aligns with our organization's values and the standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Qualifications:

  • Highly organized, proficient in IT, and skilled in delegating tasks effectively
  • Experienced in leading and managing team performance, including setting clear objectives and implementing development plans
  • Proven ability to mentor and support individuals with learning disabilities and autism
  • Strong understanding of care planning processes
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Team Manager in a similar setting
  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care
  • Familiarity with digital care planning tools is preferred
  • Current knowledge of CQC regulations and their application in care environments
  • Natural aptitude for enhancing the lives of others
  • Supportive of the mission and values of our organization and enthusiastic about community engagement.
