Job Title: Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team in Wandsworth. The Wandsworth Maximising Independence Team is a service for adults within Wandsworth who require rehabilitation in the community.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop treatment plans, assessments, and discharge planning for patients.
  • Provide dysphagia and communication intervention for patients in community settings.
About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a large supportive multidisciplinary team, comprising physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and rehab support workers. We work closely with our partners in local acute care providers, social care, and third sector to better meet complex patients' needs.

Key Requirements:
  • Recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree.
  • Registration with Health & Care Professionals Council.
  • Part completion or completion of dysphagia competencies.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
  • Evidence of relevant post-registration education and training.
  • Member of a relevant Clinical Excellence Network.
  • Registered member of RCSLT.
  • Completion of NQPs.
