About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Central London Community Health Trust. As a specialist in paediatric therapy, you will be responsible for providing expert care to children with a range of speech, language, and communication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop treatment plans for children with complex communication needs
  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure effective care
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance on communication strategies and techniques
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for children with dysphagia and eating difficulties
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make adjustments as needed
Person Specification
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council as a Speech and Language Therapist
  • Recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent
  • Registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
  • Experience working with children with complex communication needs and dysphagia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
