About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Creative to join our team at Motorway. As a key member of our Creative team, you will be responsible for leading and executing all creative initiatives that drive business growth and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Creative Team: Manage and develop a team of designers, copywriters, freelancers, producers, and external production partners and agencies.
  • Develop Creative Strategies: Collaborate with marketing leaders to translate briefs into compelling creative solutions and ensure brand consistency.
  • Present Creative Work: Clearly explain the brief, strategy, ideas, design decisions, and how they align with business objectives.
  • Foster a Culture of Creative Excellence: Mentor our talent to achieve world-class creative output.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations: Work closely with the Head of Marketing Operations and Creative Operations Manager on budgeting, project management, and people management for the Motorway Creative Studio.
  • Oversee Brand Guidelines: Ensure consistency across all channels.
Requirements
  • Proven Leadership Experience: In-house consumer marketing experience with a proven track record of developing and scaling teams.
  • Experience in Tech Brands: Experience working on brand and performance campaigns for tech brands at scale, delivering high-volume campaigns.
  • Creative Expertise: Proficient understanding of creative across channels, social platform best practices, and user acquisition KPIs.
  • Portfolio of Successful Work: A robust portfolio of successful 360-degree creative work and world-class campaigns across multiple channels and territories.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: An excellent communicator with a proven ability to inspire trust and confidence and influence at senior levels, both internally and externally.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience in leadership positions, with a demonstrated ability to lead, grow, and retain a team while being hands-on.
  • Customer Insights: Deep understanding of using customer insights, user research, and audience segmentation to drive results.
  • Team Leadership: A great team leader with a consistent track record of cross-functional leadership and partnership.
