Job Summary

The Strategic Account Manager will play a key role in providing leadership and direction to a national retail client and dedicated contract team at Integral UK Ltd. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead a team of Site Based Contract Delivery Managers and drive business growth.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Site Based Contract Delivery Managers to ensure 100% compliance to Account KPI's & SLA's.
  • Maintain and enhance client relationships to secure future growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage the P&L of contracts, including sales, growth, costs, and WIP/Debt management.
  • Ensure full understanding of Contract SLA and KPI and deliver these while maintaining industry best practice.
  • Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion and coordinate work activities with others.
  • Build partnerships with clients and colleagues through open, transparent, and timely communication.
  • Ensure a professional image of Integral UK Ltd is presented to clients and visitors and deliver excellence in customer service.
  • Adapt management style to meet changing business needs or operational circumstances.
  • Manage action plans to implement improvement initiatives.
  • Make decisions guided by policies, procedures, and business plans.
  • Communicate effectively with the team.
  • Recognize, respect, and reward the contributions and achievements of others.
  • Drive and encourage development of self and others through learning and on-the-job experience.

Personal Qualities and Experience

  • Managerial experience at Contract/Account Manager or above within technical and/or hard services is essential.
  • A proven track record in the retail sector with excellent knowledge of the industry market.
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix management structure.
  • New business hunter qualities as well as very strong account management skills.
  • Able to build positive relationships with clients to resolve day-to-day operational problems and identify opportunities for increasing profitable business.
  • Communicate using appropriate styles, methods, and timings.
  • Role model enthusiasm and energy about work and encourage others to do the same.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness when acquiring additional professional expertise.
  • Use tact and diplomacy to exchange information and handle sensitive issues.
  • Project a professional demeanor with colleagues, clients, and their customers.
  • Able to clearly communicate work tasks and win the commitment of others to achieving high levels of operational performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Industry-relevant qualifications.

  • Competent working knowledge of M&E or Fabric disciplines.
