We offer rewarding roles at two levels: Grade J and Grade K. Both positions are integral to providing essential support and safeguarding services to vulnerable individuals.

Grade J - Social Work Assistant

As a Grade J Social Work Assistant, you will work closely with families, children, and other professionals to ensure the well-being of those in need. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating effectively with children and young people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Collaborating with families to understand their circumstances and needs.
  • Identifying resources and support systems to address identified needs.
  • Contributing to multi-disciplinary teams, working alongside professionals from various fields.
  • Preparing clear and concise written reports and documentation.
  • Demonstrating strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Utilizing IT proficiency for tasks such as word processing, database access, and electronic communication.
  • Managing time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Grade K - Social Worker

At Grade K, you will take on a more advanced role, requiring a deeper understanding of social work principles and practices. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • All duties outlined for Grade J, with increased responsibility and autonomy.
  • Negotiating with families and stakeholders within the partnership arena.
  • Demonstrating self-management skills and initiative in carrying out tasks.
  • Developing comprehensive care plans and implementing them effectively.
  • Engaging service users in planning and decision-making processes.
  • Identifying potential risks and initiating appropriate child protection interventions.
  • Supervising Social Work students, providing guidance and mentorship.

Both Grade J and Grade K positions require a strong commitment to ethical practice, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families.
