Job Title: Chef de Partie

Salary: Up to 32,000 GBP

Location: Brixham, Devon

Accommodation: Provided

Charge for Accommodation: 69 GBP per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Workplace Description: This award-winning hotel, situated in 6 acres of grounds, offers a range of facilities, including a restaurant, bar, and function spaces. The hotel caters to various events, such as weddings, dinner dances, and garden parties.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: As a Chef de Partie, you will be part of a busy Brasserie operation, serving around 200 covers daily. You will also be involved in a Table d'hote/à la Carte Restaurant and function hotel, serving up to 200 covers plus various buffet menus. The kitchen offers opportunities for individuality and freedom of ideas, with a focus on using fresh local produce.

Essential Criteria: The successful applicant should have a good working knowledge of all kitchen sections and be comfortable working with fresh local produce. They should be a good communicator, have an interest in staff training and development, and knowledge of HACCP practices. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, innovative person with flair, imagination, and passion for food.
