Our client is a global business that specializes in the development of advanced technologies for the aerospace industry.

We are looking for an experienced Spray Painter who holds a recognized Level 3 qualification in Spray Painting or Body Repair.

The successful candidate will be part of a team of skilled professionals responsible for the spraying of various aircraft wing components and parts.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Spraying, paint touch-up, and cleaning aircraft parts using power tools, solvents, and primer paints.
  • Ensuring parts are produced on a right-first-time basis.
  • Ensuring calibrated equipment is within date.
  • Responsible for the timely clearance of work phases using the SAP system.
  • Responsible for highlighting any non-conformance to the Process Team Leader.
  • Adhering to the requirements of quality procedures.
  • To hold first-party inspection approval (M02 status is subject to obtaining a stamp approval, a rate increase will apply when stamp achieved).

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A recognized paint spraying indentured apprenticeship/level 3 qualification and ideally have manufacturing experience in a factory environment.
  • Ability to work to standard operating procedures.
  • Self-motivated team player with good communication skills.

This is a rolling 12-month contract with the possibility of long-term employment.
