Position Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you will deliver on-site engineering assistance to reduce downtime and enhance the availability of automated systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all automated equipment.
  • Execute planned and reactive repairs on material handling systems, including conveyors and robotics.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults effectively.
  • Respond promptly to automation breakdowns to minimize operational interruptions.
  • Prioritize system issues to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Document maintenance activities using CMMS and relevant software.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations as a primary focus.
  • Assist in the installation and testing of system upgrades.
  • Maintain adequate levels of spare parts on-site.
  • Support team meetings as necessary.
  • Guide and mentor junior technicians.
Qualifications
  • Completion of a recognized Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with automated material handling systems.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
