About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Lead to join our team at Cotteswold Dairy. As a key member of our distribution team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our chilled warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and guide a large team responsible for the receipt, picking, and returns of dairy and associated products.
  • Control all movement of stock and verify codes against tickets.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the chilled warehouse is maintained at all times, providing a safe working environment.
  • Supervise the safe loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, overseeing day-to-day operations.
  • Support and monitor team performance, encouraging them to perform to the best of their ability.
  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
  • Provide support for the chilled warehouse supervisor, covering days off and holidays.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety practices and the ability to implement the company's health and safety policy.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
