Join Our Team as a Home Care Assistant

We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Home Care Assistants. As a Home Care Assistant with Home Instead, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, providing them with the support and companionship they need to live independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients in their own homes
  • Assist with daily routines, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management
  • Offer companionship and social interaction to clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £13 per hour, with the option to earn £14.80 per hour after 6pm and at weekends
  • Double pay on Bank Holidays
  • Paid travel time and mileage
  • A range of guaranteed hours contracts available, including 12, 16, and 30 hours per week
  • Paid holiday, even on a zero-hour contract
  • Paid training and shadowing
  • DBS fee paid (after a qualifying period)
  • Regular working pattern with the same clients
  • 24/7 on-call support and a friendly and supportive office team
  • Regular team meetings, training updates, and support visits
  • Free Home Care Assistant qualifications, such as NVQ diplomas and Level 2 certificates

Requirements:

  • Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills
  • Compassionate and kind nature
  • Able to treat clients with dignity and respect at all times
  • Good listener and communicator
  • Driver with access to a vehicle
