The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking a Support Practitioner - Bank to join our team at Todhill services in Stevenston. As a Support Practitioner - Bank, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with a variety of needs, including ongoing Mental Health issues, Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Dementia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals with Autism and associated complex learning disabilities in all aspects of their life, including personal care, cooking, household tasks, shopping, and attending appointments.
  • Use different communication tools to meet the individuals' needs, as some people have complex communication needs.
  • Manage challenging behavior, which may arise when individuals are trying to communicate something.

Requirements:

  • No care experience is necessary, but previous experience in a similar service is desirable.
  • Ability to work in a team and support individuals with complex needs.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
