Arena Racing Company is seeking skilled and confident Hospitality Box Service Staff to cater to our esteemed clientele in our lively hospitality sections.

If you possess the necessary experience and are interested in this role, we encourage you to consider applying. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have prior experience in a similar capacity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver exceptional service to all guests in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Ensure that guests enjoy the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Provide knowledgeable advice to guests regarding all available offerings within the venue.
  • Foster a cheerful and inviting atmosphere throughout the venue.
  • Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team, ensuring that all guest needs are met to the highest standards.
  • Manage stock levels and rotation in work and storage areas to minimize waste and assist with inventory checks.
  • Keep the work area adequately supplied with glassware, ice, condiments, and other necessary items in accordance with predetermined stock levels.
  • Prepare and set up restaurants and boxes for meal service, including tea, coffee, and light refreshments.
  • Serve all guests efficiently, demonstrating proper food and beverage service knowledge, while maintaining cleanliness and performing all necessary tasks as directed by management.
  • Handle the service of wine and other beverages from the bar as instructed by the management team.
  • Maintain cleanliness in work and public areas before, during, and after service hours, adhering to Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines.
  • Accurately process and record all orders for billing purposes.
  • Ensure all transactions are processed through the tills in accordance with company procedures.
  • Close down tills following company protocols.
  • Act as a point of information for customers.
  • Document waste in line with venue procedures and manage rubbish disposal in accordance with recycling initiatives.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required by business needs.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Maintain a smart, polite, and professional appearance at all times.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
  • Show a strong commitment to quality service and standards.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills – friendly, confident, and outgoing.
  • Have solid numerical and literacy skills.
  • Effectively manage difficult or conflict situations.

  • Work with integrity and honesty.
  • Previous experience in a hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
