We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Regional Manager specializing in Property Claims for our esteemed national and international insurance client.

About the Role:

As a Regional Property Claims Manager, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of claims, each presenting unique challenges and values. Your role will be pivotal in managing a busy caseload while ensuring high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of claims handlers and property loss adjusters, ensuring alignment with company standards.
  • Oversee client account management and tailor services to meet individual client needs.
  • Drive process improvements and implement transformational changes.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support the recruitment of new team members.
  • Ensure that key performance indicators are consistently met and maintained.
  • Effectively manage and progress all claims cases.
  • Implement company systems and procedures with precision.
  • Maintain the highest level of technical accuracy within the regional team.
  • Draft high-quality correspondence for clients.
  • Engage with clients in a fair and effective manner, adhering to high net worth insurer requirements.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, brokers, and contractors.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for departmental management.
  • Encourage a collaborative team environment to achieve optimal results.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Supervise the processing of invoices and ensure timely approvals.
  • Detect potential fraud cases and manage recoveries in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Ensure accurate policy interpretation and validation.
  • Prepare and review reports for clients in line with agreed formats and service level agreements.
  • Maintain files to meet audit standards consistently.
  • Address problems and complaints following documented procedures.
  • Build strong working relationships with both clients and staff.
  • Stay alert to business opportunities and refer them appropriately.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Property Claims or Property Insurance.
  • Possession of or progress towards recognized professional qualifications at a diploma level.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven experience in managing and organizing workloads effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade A-C, including Maths and English.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and stay overnight as required.
  • Availability to work on standby during peak periods, including weekends and public holidays.
  • A strong client relationship ethos that exceeds customer expectations.
  • A proactive and independent work approach.
  • A collaborative team player.
