Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team at Esland Care. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and support to students with Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure seamless delivery of the curriculum
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students to help them achieve their full potential
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure a collaborative approach to student support
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of teaching students with SEN, preferably in a KS4/KS5 setting
  • Excellent knowledge of innovative pedagogy and assessment strategies
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a sense of humor
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and self-improvement
