About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our Secondary team at Ark John Keats Academy. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students, working closely with our teaching staff to ensure excellent outcomes for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver small group interventions across the four broad areas of need.
  • Support pupils with learning and reaching personalised outcomes.
  • Supervise pupils during breaks and ensure they are safe and cared for.
  • Support pupils to follow our high behavioural expectations.
  • Work 1:1 with some pupils with additional needs, and lead on running interventions in and beyond the classroom.
  • Understand the responsibility of safeguarding pupils and report any concerns to the safeguarding lead.
