Job Title: Operations Director

Join Listgrove, a leading recruitment agency, as we seek an experienced Operations Director to lead our global operations team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operations and supply chain management processes
  • Accountable for budget setting and meeting business financial targets
  • Assess commercial viability of opportunities and provide insight to the board of directors
  • Oversee all aspects of operations, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and procurement
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements
  • Map the entire value chain and devise holistic technological/process innovations
  • Ensure customer SLAs are understood, measured, and maintained
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to operations managers
Requirements:
  • MBA graduate with a bachelor's degree in a subject related to Engineering/Manufacturing
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in a key leadership/management/CI leadership role at a manufacturing facility
  • Ambition to become COO/CEO and having a personal roadmap in place is an advantage
  • Demonstrable ability to see the whole value chain
  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting practices
  • Very strong strategic problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles such as Lean manufacturing
  • Practical understanding of safety systems and policies
  • Experience of LVHV manufacturing environment, Plastics Manufacturing, and a background in Sales and Marketing is an advantage
