Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our Technical Approvals Team in Crewe, Cheshire. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering expert technical advice and support, driving advancements and enhancements to our public highways.

The Role

As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the Team Leader in the delivery of the highways technical approvals function. This will involve managing the technical approval process for third-party works on the public highway network, providing professional and technical advice and support as required, and analysing engineering problems to produce innovative solutions.

About You

We are looking for an experienced engineer with a strong background in drainage design, including Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDS). You should have competence in the use of AutoCAD and Hydraulic modelling, preferably Microdrainage and/or Civils 3D. Membership of a relevant Professional Institution and evidence of continuous professional development are also essential.
