About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Manager to lead our technology strategy and drive innovation across the business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering an IT strategy that enables the wider business to become leaner through the effective use of existing and emerging Business Technology and Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Inspire the IT Department: Develop and deliver an IT strategy that drives innovation and enables the business to become more agile and efficient.
  • Accountable for IT Services: Ensure the successful provision of all IT services, delivered either internally or externally, as required by the business.
  • Optimize Technical Solutions: Ensure that day-to-day delivery of technical solutions across the business are optimized for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage Infrastructure Environment: Manage and maintain the infrastructure environment in conjunction with in-house resources and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Manage Desktop Estate: Manage and maintain the desktop estate and deliver operational enablement utilising in-house resources.
  • Manage Security Alerts: Manage highlighted security alerts and provide a robust and proactive level of service for all stakeholders.
  • Improve Infrastructure Estate: Manage and improve the overall Infrastructure estate as defined by strategic parameters, focusing on consolidation, efficiency and capability enablement.
  • Establish Strong Partnerships: Establish strong partnerships with key client contacts to devise on-going technical strategy.
Requirements
  • Experience in IT Management: Proven experience managing a large multi-site IT landscape.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical background including cloud migration.
  • Stakeholder Management: Able to work effectively with board level team and stakeholders.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and ability to drive business outcomes through technology.
