Salary: £26,226 Per Annum
Our clients in the Aerospace and Defence industries are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling products to customer specifications, conducting component test inspections, and allocating rack locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble products to customer specifications
- Carry out component test inspections and pre-pack inspections
- Allocate rack locations and record parts
- Provide assistance to the stores area as required
- Book in materials and consumables, and move them to the appropriate location
- Pick and pack for customer dispatches
- Handle raw materials and complete stock checking
- Dispose of waste materials
- Kit jobs from correct locations for dispatch, pack customer parts, and dispatch on the correct courier
- Previous experience within a stores environment
- IT literacy and ability to use internal stock databases
- Full UK driving license for occasional delivery to customers using company transport
- Counterbalance forklift license (advantageous)
- Knowledge or experience within the engineering sector (advantageous)
Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 15:00
