Job Title: Children's Healthcare Assistant Community

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Harmony Healthcare. As a key member of our community care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young children with complex needs.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and experienced team, providing personalized care and social activities to children with complex health challenges. You will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that enables our young clients to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing person-centered care and support to children with complex needs
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as pump feeding and medication management
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Providing emotional support and reassurance to children and their families
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Recent experience working with children with complex needs in a community setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
