Logistics and Quality Control Coordinator

As a Logistics and Quality Control Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all facets of the Logistics, Dispatch, and Quality Assurance operations to ensure seamless and effective management of these essential functions, which are vital to fulfilling our clients' requirements for the products they have ordered.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics

Manage the receipt of goods from dismantling operations, ensuring that all operational standards, quality, and presentation align with our inventory management systems. Conduct thorough visual inspections of pre-owned components to ascertain whether they require reclassification or are fit for resale, refurbishment, export, disposal, or deemed surplus based on established criteria. Maintain the accuracy of part information to update the inventory database, ensuring that items are cleaned, photographed, packaged, and labeled as necessary. Ensure that all components are accurately stored in designated locations and that the inventory records are updated accordingly. Guarantee the timely fulfillment of all client orders, selecting parts and transferring them to the appropriate area for dispatch. Provide general support and guidance, addressing inquiries, suggesting suitable alternatives, and monitoring parts availability. Adhere to the stocktaking procedures, ensuring that stock movements are recorded, damaged or obsolete items are removed, and the inventory database is updated. Process returned items to evaluate their suitability for resale, reclassification, or disposal.

Dispatch

Ensure that all items are processed in line with company protocols and within designated timeframes. Utilize integrated systems and standards to facilitate the fulfillment of all orders, ensuring that each item undergoes rigorous quality checks. Manage stock, orders, and inventory to meet operational demands, ensuring that all items are dispatched accurately and punctually. Fully comprehend and utilize integrated systems within the organization to streamline the order processing, including relevant software. Ensure compliance with service level agreements for all orders, prioritizing specific clients to support the business model. Contribute to delivering exceptional customer service both internally and externally.

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution roles. Familiarity with local geography and transportation networks. Awareness of safety protocols in manual handling. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under pressure. Methodical, organized, and process-oriented. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate stakeholders.
