Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a skilled Logistics Coordinator to become a vital part of our team at the Doncaster facility. The successful candidate will oversee the safe and efficient scheduling and execution of all Freight Offsite contracts.
This role is essential for managing and facilitating the comprehensive planning of our clients' workloads and the detailed organization of component parts within our team.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Assessing and communicating long-term operational capacity for effective planning.
- Developing and implementing operational plans that align with customer timelines.
- Consistently achieving and maintaining on-time delivery (OTD) targets to ensure superior customer service.
- Regularly reviewing progress against schedules to provide timely updates to both internal and external customers.
- Monitoring production plans throughout the day to identify any potential risks to the schedule or delivery timelines.
- Considering all necessary resources, including parts, personnel, tools, and equipment to meet daily operational needs.
- Reporting production status to the Operations lead, Operations Coordinator, and Project Team members, highlighting risks, actions, and achievements.
- Ensuring all maintenance documentation is completed promptly.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in delivering customer-centric service in a safety-critical operational environment.
- Demonstrated experience in performance monitoring and improvement across various contracts and products.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data and statistical trends.
- Solid understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
- Awareness of commercial and legal considerations.
- Proficient IT skills, particularly in MS Excel and mobile computing devices.
