Job Description:

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Construction Manager to join our team in the Defence Sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for visiting MOD project sites, conducting initial planning and assessment, and developing a plan for construction and maintenance work.

You will work closely with the MOD and report to a Senior Project Manager, bringing in internal design and financial management expertise as needed. Your role will involve liaising with MOD senior personnel, assessing and planning projects effectively, and developing a comprehensive plan, estimate, and financial programme.

About the Company

Our client is a major contractor to the Defence Sector, with a long-term relationship with the MOD. We offer a stable, interesting, and varied position with superb support from a successful PLC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visit MOD project sites and conduct initial planning and assessment
  • Develop a plan for construction and maintenance work
  • Liaise with MOD senior personnel and report to a Senior Project Manager
  • Bring in internal design and financial management expertise as needed
  • Develop a comprehensive plan, estimate, and financial programme
Requirements

We are looking for a well-rounded FM or Construction Manager with NEC Contract experience, who can effectively liaise with MOD senior personnel and assess and plan projects. A driving license is essential for this role.
