Responsibilities of the Lead Business Intelligence Analyst (Costing):
1. Assist the Head of Costing in delivering analysis and solutions for Clinical Divisions and Trust services as part of the Finance Costing team.
2. Provide expertise in generating reports from key Trust IT systems.
3. Utilize knowledge of Trust and Divisional priorities to specify and deliver reports on costing and productivity data to support Clinical Divisions and broader Trust services.
4. Advocate for costing reporting priorities in Trust decision-making processes.
5. Offer guidance and support to colleagues in developing BI solutions based on data from the costing system.
6. Interpret requirements for performance, operational, and clinical reporting applications, including corporate and statutory reporting needs.
7. Communicate effectively with teams across the Trust to understand and interpret their requirements.
8. Represent the Trust in discussions regarding national data sharing and engage with the local community.
9. Develop solutions in accordance with recognized Trust standards and NHS data quality benchmarks.
10. Contribute to the enhancement of BI skills within the wider finance team.
