Position Overview:

Apple Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Senior Equality Advisor to join our team, representing a prominent health service organization.

The successful candidate will assist the leadership in the formulation and execution of initiatives aimed at fulfilling legal obligations related to equality and human rights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the leadership in the development and execution of a comprehensive equality strategy.
  • Oversee the adherence to the organization's Equality Scheme and Disability Action Plan.
  • Facilitate the integration of equality considerations into strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Assist in the management of policy evaluations and Equality Impact Assessments.
  • Coordinate public engagement activities, including stakeholder focus groups and public forums.
  • Design and implement training programs for staff and management on relevant topics.
  • Prepare management reports, including statutory progress updates for senior management and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Health and Social Care environment, with at least 3 years in leading stakeholder engagement and formal consultation processes.
  • At least 1 year of experience in developing and delivering training sessions or presentations.
  • Experience in creating management reports, including the analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data.

Additional Requirements:

Candidates must hold a valid driving license and have access to transportation to fulfill the role's requirements.

Salary: Band 6, £35,392
