Job Title: Senior Legal Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Advisor to join our team at the Utility Regulator. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing expert legal advice on matters related to our statutory remit.

About the Role

As a Senior Legal Advisor, you will be responsible for providing clear, concise, and timely legal advice on a wide range of topics, including modifications to regulatory licenses and codes, transposition and implementation of European Directives, and interpretation of energy and water law. You will also advise on the determination of regulatory complaints and disputes, and enforcement action in accordance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice on matters related to our statutory remit
  • Advise on modifications to regulatory licenses and codes
  • Transposition and implementation of European Directives
  • Interpretation of energy and water law
  • Advice on the determination of regulatory complaints and disputes
  • Enforcement action in accordance with statutory requirements
