About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our HR team in Farnborough. As a Placement student, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR Management and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting HR colleagues with operational tasks, such as liaising with departments and resolving day-to-day issues
  • Undertaking ad-hoc HR projects to support the HR team, including projects within the wider HR teams
  • Producing letters to employees as required by HR colleagues, using templates and meeting agreed timescales
  • Generating D,E&I awareness through creating and updating publicity material, organizing drop-in sessions, and creating podcasts and newsletters
  • Maintaining our internal and external D,E&I profile through benchmarking, employee data collection, and internal surveys

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a Placement student with a passion for HR and a strong interest in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. You'll need:

  • A degree in HR or a related subject, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices
  • Excellent organization skills, with the ability to juggle priorities and work independently
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
  • A self-starter mentality, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities
