Purpose of Position

To drive revenue growth for DPD Group UK's international operations, aligning with our strategic objectives for customer acquisition, segmentation, and service offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and manage a robust sales pipeline encompassing both existing prospects and new business opportunities. This pipeline must be substantial enough to fuel the achievement of DPD Group UK's international expansion targets outlined in our strategic plan.
  • Monitor the performance of newly acquired customers, ensuring they align with established revenue profiles. Develop and implement action plans to address any deviations from these targets.
  • Ensure a seamless handover of all new accounts to the International Strategic Account team or CRM portfolio within six months of their initial trade. This process involves joint appointments with relevant stakeholders to guarantee that each account achieves the desired revenue levels as defined by the business.
  • Identify emerging trends and customer needs, proactively building a sales pipeline for both short-term, medium-term, and long-term opportunities. This includes securing new business across core international services and bespoke solution offerings aligned with our strategic objectives.
  • Champion a collaborative approach to partnering with prospects, providing expert guidance throughout the implementation process for new international customers. Effectively coordinate and align internal teams to support this seamless onboarding experience.
  • Consistently achieve all international portfolio product targets as set by DPD Group UK's leadership team.
  • Embrace and champion the adoption of new international products launched by DPD Group UK. Identify and secure suitable new business opportunities to drive the development and establishment of these innovative offerings.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is obtained to process credit facilities for new clients, adhering to industry-standard practices such as ISO compliance.
  • Strive to consistently exceed revenue targets year on year, demonstrating a commitment to driving growth and exceeding expectations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within Salesforce, adhering to company procedures and best practices.
  • Lead and oversee the international tender process for new business opportunities, ensuring a robust and competitive approach to securing contracts.
  • Guarantee that each new international account adheres to the relevant requirements of our international operations and complies with all applicable trade regulations.
  • Continuously enhance your knowledge of international trade and logistics through ongoing education, networking events, and presentations. Share this expertise within DPD Group UK to foster a culture of excellence and best practice.
Performance Metrics

Success in this role will be measured by:
